STRESS & ANXIETY
Anxiety and stress can get in the way of your life and sometimes it might feel like you just can’t keep up with your thoughts or emotions. This can be exhausting and often leads to avoiding things you want to do, just to avoid having to experience the emotions that come with it. Anxiety is often experienced as excessive worry, racing thoughts, tension, stress, difficulty sleeping, avoidance of certain situations, and withdrawal from life. Luckily, anxiety is something that is usually learned over time and therefore it is something that can be “unlearned”. This group teaches you the skills you need to get on top of your anxiety and cope with it.
- Duration: 6 x 90-min, weekly sessions. Starting in October.
- Day & Time: Register your interest & select the day/time that best suits you.
- Ages: Adults.
- Cost: $250 with a referral from your GP. Reduced rate available for concession card holders. Please contact us for further details.
Private health insurance coverage may also be an option - please check with your provider.
Groups will run in small groups of 6 to 10 people.
The program will teach practical, evidence-based tools to help eliminate your worry and anxiety. All resources are included.
